Running In The New Year - A JSRC Tradition

Let’s face it, this is the busiest time of the year but it’s also time to think about your New Year’s Resolutions.  And with all the food and drink we are about to consume over the next few weeks, you might want to consider starting 2024 off on the right foot with some extra steps!
 
Please join us for the 20th Annual New Years Eve Twilight 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk & Party hosted by the Jersey Shore Running Club on the beautiful Manasquan beachfront. This JSRC tradition has brought smiles to the thousands who have run it in the past.  A 4:00 pm start time allows for a little “recovery time” before your late night partying. This is a SAFE and happy celebratory fun run with course marshals at selected locations. Runners, walkers and friends are all welcome!  There will be a free buffet for all participants at Leggett's Sand Bar following the run/walk.

JSRC is a 501c3 nonprofit organization.  Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Women of Irish Heritage of the Jersey Shore and VFW Post 1838 - Manasquan, NJ.  Please consider a donation to these organizations.  

VFW Post 1838 - The Manasquan VFW is considered a premier Post in New Jersey and is referred to as a model Post because of its commitment to activities. Post 1838 has 400 members that serve Manasquan, Brielle, Belmar, Sea Girt, Wall and Spring Lake Communities. It has been in charge of the annual Memorial Day Parade for many years. It also takes part in Loyalty Day programs, Veterans Day activities and special occasions where services are needed, such as Poppy distribution for Memorial Day, posting flags on Veterans gravesites and funeral services for deceased members. The Post runs the Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen programs each year to help local students with scholarship money.

The Women of Irish Heritage of the Jersey Shore is a non-profit organization that promote Irish Cultural, Social and Philanthropic activities.  The funds raised contribute to education, charitable, religious or public spirited purposes to benefit an indeterminate number of persons.

Online registration will be open through Tuesday, December 26 at jsrc.org or RunSignUp/JSRC Twilight Run or in person at Leggett’s on December 31 prior to the run/walk. No mail in entry.

Early Bird Registration (10/1 through 10/31/2023) - $30.00  (JSRC Members - $25.00)
Pre-Registration (11/1 through 12/26/2023) - $33.00
Race Day Registration (12/31/2023) - $35.00
Party Only (Includes Tee Shirt & buffet) - $20.00

Bib & T-Shirt Pick Up and Post Registration at Leggett's Sand Bar - 2:30 pm - 3:45 pm
Tee Shirts for all pre-registered participants through 12/26. Tee Shirts for post registrants (12/31) only while supplies last. 
2 mile run/walk will start at 4:00 pm
Post Run/Walk Party at Leggett's Sand Bar - Free Buffet

From North - turn left on Main St

From South - turn right onto Main St

Continue East on Main St to First Ave

Leggett's is on right Street
